When Dharmendra was invited to be a part of Comedy Nights Live, the legendary actor thought he would be meeting his favourite comedian Kapil Sharma on the show.
Dharmendra was under the impression that he was going to Comedy Nights With Kapil and would get to meet Kapil Sharma on the show when he joined sons Sunny and Bobby Deol on the sets. It was only once he got there that he realised he was actually on the channel's new show, Comedy Nights Live.
Dharmendra even mentioned Kapil Sharma on the show and admitted that he missed Kapil and his team's acts. The channel edited that portion out as they didn't want to put Krushna Abhishek, the new host of the show, and his team in an embarrassing situation.
Dharmendra accompanied his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol to the sets of Comedy Nights Live for the extended promotion of Ghayal Once Again, assuming that it was Comedy Nights With Kapil. It was only when he went on the stage that he realised that the things have completely changed since his last visit.
Dharmendra didn't even know that Kapil and Colors were no longer together. He went to the show, thinking that he is going to Comedy Nights With Kapil. It's only when he went on stage that he realised that Kapil is no longer a part of the show

Well, this confusion is bound to happen for it's not that easy to separate Kapil from Comedy Nights.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is all set to return to the small screen with a new comedy show with more creative difference on Sony TV. The first promo of it has already been shot and will be on air soon. However, the show will premiere in May.
