A Sohail Khan film for Kapil Sharma?

Popularity attracts attention for sure. King of Comedy Kapil Sharma may have lost the chance of working with Yash Raj Films, atleast for the moment, but he does have newer opportunities knocking his door. Well, if the latest reports are anything to go by, then Kapil might soon be seen in Sohail Khan`s next venture.

After his exit from the Yash Raj Films` `Bank Chor`, the buzz is rife that the famous host on television might be roped in for Sohail`s film, which will mark his big screen début. Interestingly, their association goes a long way back. Sohail was a celebrity judge while Kapil featured on a popular comedy show as a contestant some years back.

Also, Kapil was expected to star in Sohail`s `Sher Khan`, a project which never got made, for reasons best known to the makers. Although no official confirmation has come from either sides.

We know that Kapil is immensely talented. It is just a matter of time when we get to see him nailing it down as an actor on the silverscreen too.

Kapil Sharma adopts Zanjeer

Kapil Sharma had introduced Zanjeer, the dog, to all of us in Thursday. But here’s something that will inspire one and all- the star comedian has adopted the dog which worked with the Mumbai Police.

Kapil took to Twitter to write:

An animal welfare community – Animals matter to me- shared the news on Facebook and thanked Kapil Sharma and Preeti Simoes (creative director of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’) for giving a new lease of life to Zanjeer.

The Facebook post reads:

“We can`t contain our excitement. The country`s biggest comedian, Kapil sharma, has endorsed our work and the cause that we stand for when he decided to adopt Zanjeer from us.
Needless to say, Zanjeer has found a fantastic home to spend the rest of his time with and is spending his time amongst the celebrities now. We can`t thank you enough Kapil & Preeti for adopting him and hope that you continue to fight for the well being of our animal friends.”

Earlier on Thursday, Kapil had tweeted:

Here’s thanking Kapil for adopting Zanjeer.

Meet Kapil Sharma’s new family member

Not many people are aware of Kapil Sharma’s love for animals. The actor-producer often uses his Twitter handle to tweet about animals in distress and to request people to sign petitions for the welfare of mute beings.

Kapil, who has an ocean of fan following across the globe and all age groups, took to the micro-blogging site to introduce his new family member.

Sharma is yet to disclose what role Zanjeer will play. But his love for animals is apparent. Earlier too, Kapil had rescued stray pups and help them find shelter in a rehabilitation centre. He had also raised his voice for saving Sunder, an elephant which was physically abused by its master.

When Humpty Sharma met Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma`s television show `Comedy Nights With Kapil` is the latest must-visit place which no filmmaker would ever want to miss for promotions. This time it was Karan Johar`s Dharma productions` `Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania` cast featuring on Kapil`s show for the famous `magazine` interview.

Producer Karan Johar took to micro-blogging site Twitter, posting a candid picture from Kapil`s show. He captioned it as: “#humptysharma and #kapilsharma!!!!”

`Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania` has been directed by débutante filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and is set to release worldwide on July 11, 2014. The film also marks the big screen début of famous telly face Siddharth Shukla, who enthralled the audience as Shiv in `Balika Vadhu`.

After ugly spat, KRK apologises to Kapil Sharma

Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK seems to have realised that bad mouthing people on social media wouldn’t help him any which way. And hence the controversial man was found extending an olive branch to Kapil Sharma Tuesday morning via Twitter.

KRK had an ugly spat with the star comedian last week. The altercation through tweets turned so fierce that Kapil found himself in an embarrassing position.

The producer of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, who is known for his wit and incomparable talent lost his cool and ended up using words that were unbecoming of himself.

KRK on the other hand has had the reputation of being an annoying celebrity on Twitter infamous for calling people names and using unparliamentary language.

However, it is surprising to see the man apologising to Kapil for the argument that was uncalled for.

Lata Mangeshkar is all praises for `Comedy Nights..`

Comedy Nights With Kapil` successfully completed it`s first year on Jun 22, 2014 and the show hosted by Kapil Sharma is a great hit among the crowd.

Comedy king Kapil rose to fame post the show, and has had many celebrities grace the show. More than often, his talent has been praised by the who`s who of Bollywood. The latest being the melodious queen of music industry Lata Mangeshkar who thinks very highly of the comedian.

She took to Twitter to shower her wishes on the successful one year of the show.
