Kapil Sharma to host 22nd Star Screen Awards

Kapilians You will be seen, Kapil Sharma will be the host of the upcoming 22nd Annual Star Screen Awards, replacing Shah Rukh Khan who was the host of the awards ceremony for the last three years.

You will get to see Kapil stepping into the shoes of the ‘Dilwale’ actor while bringing in his own style to increase the entertainment quotient of the event.

The 22nd Annual Star Screen Awards, which will honour the best of films and film talent from Bollywood, will take place in the first week of January 2016. The show will be aired in the last week of January on Star Plus.

Respect For Kapil Sharma and Team

On one fine day sitting on my couch hearing to some nice music by David Guetta I saw on twitter  Comedy Nights Roast named show is gonna telecast on Colors TV on Saturdays hosted by Krushna Abhishek & Bharti Singh. Krushna Abhishek ya that "Govinda ka bhanja" fame. The whole team of Comedy Circus and Comedy Classes have come together for this show.. and that Govinda ka bhanja openly saying we here to challenge kapil.. by indirectly saying ek sher ke saamne pura jungle aake khada hai... but yeh Govinda ka bhanja bhul gaya ki .. jund mein tho suer chalte hai.. sher hamesha akela chalta hai.. 

After a week or so they changed their show name to Comedy Nights Bachao... Comedy Nights bcoz Govinda ke bhanje ke show ka Naam Kuch aur hota tho chalta nahi naa.. Zindagi bhar jis actor ke naam se paisa kamaya.. kuch kar nahi paaya..so dosto ke show ke naam ko churane laga.. so that koi uss dost ke naam se yeh show dekhke.. & Bharti Singh.. ya that irritating fat lady which appears in all the shows & levels down their reputation by Kissing ..bad flirting etc on a national tv.. Both of these low budget comedians came together for a show. Comedy Nights Bachao ...has a concept of roast (concept also copied from the AIB roast which happened in Feb 2015)... insult comedy in short. After its first episode. Their reviews were so bad ...so bad.. their dialogues were mostly copied from CNWK it self... Never the less... the jokes were so vulgar that people actually had to change the channel bcoz of their vulgarness.. its second episode was double the first one... potty jokes made the highlights. .. so cheap 

Time passed by and CNWK team realized that Colors is favoring CNB too much... promoting CNB more & CNWK less.. keeping CNB always prior when big celebs come for promotions. Starting CNWK 15-30 mins late& CNB exact on time & we came to know... the inner news that Colors team was jealous of Kapil earning so much through Movie promotion... & colors were suffering from it .. that's why they were favouring CNB more.. and the mastermind behind that was Colors CEO Raj Nayak ( @rajcheerfull ) An old mid 50s guy.. who does 2-3 minimum foreign tours a yr with wife... still gets jealous of Kapil 

Bcoz of this jealous man CNWK team and Kapil had to suffer.. they tried their best but failed. Finally, CNWK team & Kapil decided to shift their show to a different channel.. tired of this behavior from colors. CNWK team thought if they stop CNWK ...colors would make CNB twice a week. but colors had their own plans... they are introducing a new show on that Sunday 10 pm slot ... you would be shocked to know... they are introducing Comedy Nights With Krushna... Like seriously. . & Colors has even planned to keep the same set which was during Comedy Nights with Kapil... they are not even letting their bakri go 

Means this Guy Krushna.... can't even have his own set..own ideas own techniques. . & I'm sure they would even have same jokes same dialogues 3 years CNWK team worked hard .. day and night on this set.. skipping all the pleasures in life... having whole and soul on this set and colors says .. shoot the last episode by 4jan and leave forever...its the same thing. .. father removing his child and replacing it with an orphaned child 

I only have to say few more words.

All of us are scared of thieves aren't we? that's because we are scared that we will be robbed of something we own. Well our very own comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has been robbed.

He has been robbed of his idea yes his concept of Comedy Nights, the sets and even their famous bakri is being stolen Yeah readers colours is changing comedy nights with Kapil to comedy nights with Krushna.Its pretty disheartening to see how people lack new ideas and try to carry forward something which was never theirs.

Kapil Sharma with the support of his immensely talented team and his quick wit had managed to make comedy nights with Kapil a huge success Krushna is going to have a tough time matching him.

In the past we have seen similar comedy shows crumble to pieces ....nd its 'time' that will judge if the channel will progress with this stolen idea or will it get buried with the burden of having stolen it.

According to a source, ColorsTV has now decided to rename Comedy Nights With Kapil to Comedy Nights With Krushna.

When they stole the name "Comedy Nights" it was Okay! we thought, let it be. But afterwards they started copying the characters of CNWK also...That was also okay. But Now What's this? "Comedy Nights With Krushna"?

I have also heard that ColorsTV has sent a Notice to the Kapil and his team to shoot the remaining 2 episodes before 4th of January after that Krushna will take over on that set. means They are also taking away their Set, they are not even letting Bakri go.

Comedy Nights means Kapil ka show only not others. No one can replace Kapil. He was the ...is the and will be the Best ! 

Kapil has given his Blood and sweat to this show, It is like his family at least ColorsTV should have shown some humanity and let their Comedy Nights With Kapil with them but they are not.They are robbing it. 

I am very sad and Hurt.

Comedy Nights With Kapil is a brand now, No one can replace it.

I have also heard that the promo of "Comedy Nights With Krushna" has been shooted already. ColorsTv is playing very dirty game. We all need to stand with Kapil Sharma in his bad situation. 

The man who made us laugh even in our down moment, Now its time to give it all back to him.

Fans of  Kapil Sharma brace yourself, because we have some seriously bad news for you.

Kapil Sharma may end his popular show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' in 2016.

The team is apparently 'unhappy' for the 'step-motherly treatment received from the channel'.

Kapil was also quoted to be saying that he did not want to continue the show because he didn't want to be a part of the 'crowd' – referring to some other similar content being aired on the channel.

That's for sure is bad news for those looking forward to the new year, provided a laugh riot will come to an end!

Kapil Sharma Is PETA’s Person of the Year 2015

Kapil Sharma has brought home many a top prize, and now he’ll have one more to add to the list, courtesy of PETA India. For his dedication to promoting the adoption of dogs from animal shelters or the streets and helping animals in other ways, Sharma is being named PETA India’s Person of the Year for 2015.

Says Kapil, “I am thrilled to learn that I’m being recognised for helping animals. I love to make people laugh but what we all should know is that dog and cat homelessness is no laughing matter.  Each one of who has the time, resources and patience to welcome an animal companion into our homes should adopt a needy dog or cat from shelters or the streets. Zanjeer and I will cherish this PETA award forever!”

From coming to the rescue of puppies on the set of Comedy Nights to opening his home to retired police dog Zanjeer – who frequently accompanies him to work – Sharma has come to the aid of animals in need and spoken out countless times for homeless dogs and cats as well as formerly abused elephant Sunder, who is now safe at a sanctuary with other rescued elephants.

Sharma and the other stars of Comedy Nights also appeared in a PETA campaign to encourage the adoption of homeless animals.

Past recipients of PETA India’s Person of the Year Award include Dr Shashi Tharoor, retired Supreme Court Justice KS Panicker Radhakrishnan and actors Hema Malini, R Madhavan and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Right now I (Prachodaya Das)  have five months left to my 12 boards and it was five months to my 10 boards when talks of Kapil Sharma being on the big screen were initiated .I Being an ardent admirer of his work had sent heaven a small prayer on embarking this news.Its been a long time and I have learned a lot from him so today writing an article for the success of his debut movie KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON is indeed an honor

Kapil sharma yinka naam sunte hi aap ko lagta hoga na ye movie bhi comedy hogi. Ha yisme bhi aap ko kapil ki comedy aur sath hi sath aap ko kapil ki  khurapaati dimag bhi dekhne ko milega jo aap ko ye kahne ko mazbur kar dega omg kya idea hai yaar. ab bichara kare bhi kya, india me insaan ko ek patni ko khush karne ke me 40 saal lag jata hai fir bhi usse khush nahi kar pate aur yaha 4 Patni ko ek sath khush karna pade to insaan ka dil nahi dimag hi chalna padga.

Varun Sharma- dosti ke liye jaan dedunga but dost ko phasne nahi dunga. aap apne dimag ki bettery ko ache se charge kar ke jana kyun ki ye aap ko scince ka yesa gyan denge aur agar aap ka dimag na chalu huwa to gyan adhura hi rah jayega yaar.tum log bhi na arbaz khan- ye humare bhai to apna kaan ghar me bhul aaye but aap apna kaan sath me lekar aana kyun ki ye bina sune bhi pura comedy kar dale hai.

Simarn- Yisne kam kam karne ke liye bai raha but ye bai jaimi to puri chij ko kam karne me lagi huyi hai. Padoshi kam ye bai jada paresion kar ke rakhi hai. Like kawab ki haddi yise hi kahte hai. maju- Kahte  hai bhagwan sab ki sunta hai bichari ab kya kar bhagwan ne to yiski kuch jaldi hi sun li ab kare bhi kya uper wale par bhi khubsurti ka effect jaldi padta.

Sai- ye to yisi aas me bhaithi hai ki mera pati aayega ghar me khushiya layega aata bhi hai fir chala  bhi jata hai.

Drama- Kisi ki madad karo to puniy milta hai but jada puniy bhi saja bhi ho jati hai. Kapil ko jo saja mili hai vo kisi drama se kam hai kya.

Jab We Met Kapil !

I don't know from where i start ?

I am from Bihar and I was trying to meet him from last 2 years but whenever I tried it always got failed.

Last year also I won 2 passes of Kapil Sharma's Show in Delhi..but my Parent's didn't allow me to go Delhi !

Even it was fixed that I was going to Mumbai in June,15 for Xavier's entrance test but due to some personal reason I didn't go and that time also I failed.

Then I shifted to Delhi in June only for my further studies.

And then it was like "Kapil Bhai Delhi to ayenge hi movie promotion k liye..Hope ab mil lunga"

Then after 3 months He came to Delhi at Parliament House but that time I didn't know that he was in Delhi until he tweeted a pic "It's Honor to be at The Rashtrapati Bhawan with The President Of India Mr. Pranav Mukherjee #SwachhBharat "

It was 11th Sept that day and when I investigated I came to know that he returned to Mumbai on 11th only and Also got to know that he is again coming to Delhi on 14th but where? I didnt know.

Then on 14th Morning he tweeted "Flying to Delhi to shoot for @indiatvnews #aapkiadalat #kkpk25sept"

And then what? I just started panic "I want to attend this" but I didn't know how to get entry or passes of it.I called many of my friends if he has contact in IndiaTvNews but no one had...Then I found IndiaTv Office's no. On its Facebook page..I called but they said  " Sorry sir,We will not be able to help you because the seats are already overloaded,can't help. If you had called me one or two days back then I could have helped you". 

Then I called my friend Prerna Bisht and told her about it and asked if she has any contact in IndiaTv? 

She said "Ok let me ask Papa".

Then after sometime She called me and said "ho gya...Hane bas jana hai aur us bande ko call karna hai..wo hame entry dilwa  dega"

I was told that Kapil will meet us outside the IndiaTv but We thought Lets enter will shall meet him after the shoot because he would be busy due to shoot and also he didnt sleep that whole night, he was shooting with the KKPK team on Comedy Nights, so he was tired also.So we decided to meet him after the shoot.

We entered into the IndiaTv office at 2:30 PM only and was waiting fr the Aap Ki Adalat studio to be open. At 4 PM we entered into the Studio. And then it was like "ab ayenge Kapil...Ab ayenge kapil"

I was going to watch him live for the first, The curiosity of watching him live and meeting was so high,I was like "Ab aa v jao yaar" 

Then the shoot started at 7:30 PM and then he came 😃 We screamed "Kapil Kapil Kapil" I was very excited and Happy "Finally Watching him Live"

It was probably 9 PM when Anukalp Goswami ( Writer of Film KKPK) came and informed Kapil that the flight is at 10:45 PM and I have to go now only for checkIn process and all.

I was like "Shit! Means we are not going to meet him? Because it might takes about 1 hour to reach Delhi Airport from IndiaTv Office"

We requested Anukalp but he couldn't. shoot got over at 9:40 PM. And we went outside the office and called Anukalp, he said that "he has left for the airport and not to worry he will come again for the promotion" I was sad that time but then I thought that let it be "Har chiz ka ek samay hota hai..iska v ayega". And on the same day I got to know that He is coming to Delhi again on 22th but where? I didnt know.

It got very excited from 19th September only when my friend Anmol met him in Ahmadabad.

It was like 22 aa jaye bas. It was 21st And nothing was confirmed that where is he coming and all. I was very tensed that If I would get to meet him or not. 21st passed away..nothing confirmed.

22th Morning,

Woke up and checked but "No information yet"and then I started contacting everyone who has contact in cnwk ...Then Preeti di and Ruslaan helped me. It was about 1 PM when Ruslaan informed me that they were in a Hotel in Yamuna Sports,Kakadumma and co-incidently I was in Kakadumma that time, it was just 2 KM from where I was standing that time.Then I called Maneet, Prerna, Radhika,Disha. We were so excited..We were finally going to meet him in real. 

We shouting inside the car "Whooooooohoooooo...Finally"

We enter into the Hotel and called Radhika, it rang but then got cut..I called again but it was not reachable.I called from other's number too but it was not reachable. Then we asked about his Conference from a Hotel member , he said that it is going on 3rd Floor. We went on 3rd floor and was waiting for the Ruslaan's call. But then Suddenly Mani saw Abbas Mustan (through the glass) and Prerna said "Arrey haan wo Dekho Kappu v hai...Wo hame hi dekh rhe hai sayad"

And then Ruslaan came and said wait here will call you.

After few mins Preeti di and Anushree passed from there and then Prerna saw them and called "Diiiii" 

And then we met them..And then I realised that Preeti di is really sweeted What I heared about her on twitter...We talked and took pics and selfies...Was talking as if we met before also

After few mins A man came ( I don't know his name ) and Asked "Abhishek?" And I said yes ? 

Come - he replied

We went inside the conference hall..Saw Dinesh bhai (Kapil sir's friend and also Plays guitar on CNWK) ..I talked and took a pic with him.

Then we saw Abbas Mustan And thought to take one pic with them but he was other side of the hall..If we had went there ,Kapil sir would have left that hall.

Then Ruslaan told Kapil sir "ye kuch Kapilians milne aye hai"

Acha haan ,Kaise ho tumlog? - He said

We then introduced ourselves one by one and at last It was my turn I said "Hi bhaiya! I am Abhishek" "Acha to Ap hi ho Abhishek" , He replied

I was on 7th cloud that time

Yes Yes We were finally meeting him...Shaked hands and hugged ..Took pics 😍😍  wished them Luck for the movie. And then he left..Bcoz it was 4:30 and he had 2 or more events to do that day..he was busy but No Problem we met him that was enough for us

We shouted loud inside the lift.

*Laughing*  *Dreaming*  *Crying*

And then we left the Hotel. That's it! This was my journey.

Only Kapil came to mind for 'KKPK': Abbas-Mustan

Director duo Abbas-Mustan, who are launching comedian-anchor Kapil Sharma as an actor in "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", have revealed that only the "Comedy Nights With Kapil" star came to their mind for the film.

"No other actor except Kapil Sharma came to our mind for the script of 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'. We never go further with the script till we get the correct actor for it. And we have seen the popularity and know that Kapil only can justify the film's character," Abbas-Mustan told media here.

"We made a movie with new face like Shah Rukh Khan and he became a star and now Kapil Sharma in this one ('Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'). We have just cast them in the movie, how high they go is their luck. It is not in our hands," added Mustan.

The duo also specified that they didn't want any big name for the film.

"We didn't wanted to go with any big actor or any newcomer. Moreover, everyone wanted to see Kapil in movies," said the duo, who had been to his show but didn't intend to do a movie with him then.

Mustan also said that after "Badshah", "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" is a comedy film, which the public will "definitely enjoy".

"I see Badshah as my last full comedy movie, which had some thriller element too. In this movie we have comedy and a good story which public will definitely enjoy and say it's an entertaining film. Start to end it's a family entertainer for all age groups," he said.

"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" also stars Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi and Elli Avram. It will be introducing Sai Lokur.

When Kapil Sharma surprised Abbas-Mustan!

Kapil Sharma, who is all set for his Bollywood debut with Abbas-Mustan's forthcoming comic family entertainer ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, surprised the director duo while shooting an emotional scene.

"There was an emotional scene, where Kapil is shown drunk and narrates what happens with him throughout. It was a five-page dialogue scene," said Abbas.

"We asked Kapil to come prepared and we also came prepared. Shoot was scheduled for eight in the night. We had ordered for dinner, late night snacks and morning breakfast for the unit. After the lighting was set and all was done, we started the shot at around 8 pm," he added.

What happened next took the directors and the entire cast and crew by surprise.

"We told Kapil about the markings and camera movements. The shoot began and we were surprised as we had to pack-up by 9.30 pm. Kapil did the five page dialogue in one shot. He asked for one more take but we were confident and didn't go for the second take. It was very well performed by Kapil and we were fully satisfied," said Abbas.

Explaining about the same scene, Kapil told media how he remembered his father who is no more and this pain of missing him at this stage of life helped him do that scene without using glycerin.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ also stars Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi and Elli Avram. It will be introducing Sai Lokur.

The film is slated to release on September 25.

Kapil Sharma made me laugh all the way: Elli Avram

Actress Elli Avram, who essays a love interest of comedian-actor Kapil Sharma in his debut Bollywood film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", says he made her go through a laugh riot while shooting for the film.

"He made me laugh so many times that I was getting teary and my make-up artist had to come every time to do my touch up! It was good fun and I loved it," Elli told IANS of her experience of shooting with the "Comedy Nights With Kapil" star.

She also recollected an instance when while shooting a scene, she was supposed to be a little upset with his character, but all she could do was only laugh.

"I had to hold that mood (upset mood) in the beginning. Just before the shoot, he suddenly started to make those (funny) faces and said a line in a funny way... and I was like 'Can you please stop it? I'm going to laugh... how will I come into the serious mode?'."

Nevertheless, she finds Kapil to be "very talented, supportive, kind and has done a great job".

She's also all praise for the film's director duo Abbas-Mustan.

"Even our directors Abbas-Mastan sir are so positive, humble and nice people... I was like 'Are we shooting a movie or are we just chilling and having fun?'"

The Sweden-born actress made her debut with "Mickey Virus", and she is especially "happy" that she has worked on her Hindi speaking skills.

"I'm very happy for the fact that I've learnt the (Hindi) language now because and that trained me to be more to be quicker," she said the actress, who has reportedly bagged a role in "Housefull 3".

But choosing not to talk about it, she said: "There is nothing that is confirmed as yet for 'Housefull 3'. So, I don't have clarity... that I can share regarding my next project."

Kapil Sharma says he feels lucky to be making his Bollywood debut with filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan's upcoming romantic-comedy "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon".

Kapil never thought he would get launched in the film industry by the directors, who have hits like "Race", "Race 2" and "Aitraaz" to their credit.

"I am feeling blessed that in my first film I got the opportunity to work with the most talented and humble directors Abbas-Mustan. "I had positive feeling doing this film. I never thought I will get a chance to be directed by them. I feel happy and proud,"

As directors, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" marks Abbas-Mustan's first movie in a genre other than action-thriller.

The actor feels the film's plot of a man having three wives and a girlfriend is exciting. "In Bollywood, we have seen concept of two wives in lot of films. For this film we have three wives and a girlfriend... It is a bit complicated but we had fun. I enjoyed reading the script and I was excited about doing the film."

When asked if he would take bid goodbye to TV for his career in films, the actor said, "TV has given me everything. I will keep doing both, TV and films." Kapil, who is back on his popular show after a two-week break owing to bad health, said he is happy with the "blessings" "Comedy Nights" has received.

"I am happy with the love and appreciation I got for comedy for my show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'. I am happy with the blessings that we are getting for the show." Kapil Sharma on Thursday unveiled the trailer of his debut venture ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu’.

The entire starcast - Kapil, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Varun Sharma, Arbaaz Khan along with director duo Abbas and Mustan - were present at the bustling event. Actor-director Satish Kaushik and actor Gurmeet Choudhary also lent their support by turning up.

"You can call 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' a comedy thriller. There are a lot of things in the film... I've even done a bit of romance in the film.. When I spoke to Abbas Mustan, they too were of the opinion that we need to make a neat and clean comedy film. In terms of comedy, it is easy to get under the belt, so it's a big thing if you proceed by being careful about it," the "new boy on the block" Kapil Sharma told media persons.

Kapil said he was focused on keeping the content of the movie just like his popular comedy show, "Comedy Nights With Kapil".

"It's a fun-filled comedy film just like our show. So my request to sir was also that we'll make a project just like our show which is being watched by children, elderly and parents. And they have faith in us that those kinds of talks won't feature in our show. So in the film too, we're trying the same. This is a complete family film which you all can enjoy."

In the trailer, some witty dialogues are uttered by Kapil amidst the chaos and hilarious situations caused by his struggle with his wives and girlfriend. The film is gearing up for release on September 25.
