Kapil Sharma joins 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'!

Comedy king Kapil Sharma, not just tickles the funny bone but also performs his duty as a righteous citizen of the country. The 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' host took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his happiness over joining PM Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.
Kapil posted: “Participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan with the CM of Maharashtra n @poonam_mahajan perfect start to the day..what r u waiting for .. ?”

Another Bollywood veteran who was seen in the cleanliness drive was filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. The director posted a picture on Twitter, captioning it as: "Happy & privileged to be a part of the #SwachBharatAbhiyan with Hon CM @Dev_Fadnavis @poonam_mahajan @ShelarAshish

Kapil and Madhur started the cleanliness drive in Mumbai city along with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devdendra Fadnavis and Member of Parliament from Mumbai North Central Poonam Mahajan.

The Bollywood celebrities not only participated in the initiative taken by the PM, but also urged their fans and followers to do the same. 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

'Kill Dil' cast on 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'!

Kapil Sharma's television show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' has garnered so much attention over past one year that no celebrity would like to miss the opportunity of visiting it. In fact, there is a bevy of stars who have featured twice or thrice on the show, such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and last but not the list Shah Rukh Khan.

Promoting a film on Kapil's show seems like the latest fad in B-Town. The star cast of Shaad Ali's upcoming romantic-action drama featured on the show, and actor Ranveer Singh couldn't hide the excitement. The actor took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted some fun pictures from the set.

Here's what he tweeted: “Ye humare @RanveerOfficial bhai hai na comedy nights pe itna aaye huwe hai log sochte hai ye kaam idhar karta hai - @KapilSharmaK9 #CantWait”.

'Kill Dil' is slated to hit the theatres on November 14, 2014. The film stars Ranveer, Ali Zafar, Parineeti Chopra and Govinda in lead roles.
