Kapil Sharma to produce films !


The king of comedy Kapil Sharma has indeed come a long way, and how! The actor-comedian, who is the current favourite of all Bollywood biggies took to social media platform for making a huge announcement.

Kapil made it out that soon his production house, named as K9 productions is going to venture into producing films. Without divulging much, he posted simultaneously on Twitter and Facebook. His tweet read: “Very soon we r going to produce a movie under our K9 productions.. Need ur blessings.. Will post the details soon :))”.

His show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' is produced by K9 productions. The maverick comedian has so far managed to strike gold with his super comic timing, now whether his luck runs the same way in films, only time will tell.

'Happy New Year' team on a laugh riot with Kapil Sharma


What happens when the king of romance meets the king of comedy? Well, it calls for a royal laughter challenge. This is exactly what happened when Shah Rukh Khan and the entire 'Happy New Year' team visited 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'.

We can imagine how funny and hilarious the outcome must have been. Therefore, it seems the 'badshah' of Bollywood could not control his lighter side and took to micro-blogging site Twitter, posting: “Have always enjoyed CNWKapli…but tonite what the HNY team & CNWK team has shot has to be the funniest ever. Thanks.”




















So, we now have a sneak peak of how they all must have had a ball during Kapil's show. The episode is yet to be aired.

Would love to work with Kapil one day: Riteish


Riteish Deshmukh has started shooting for "Bank Chor" which sees him as a common man who turns into a bank robber, a role which was initially to be played by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. He says he is a huge fan of the latter and would love to work with him one day.


"I am Kapil's huge fan. Things didn't work out for him and I got the role. I am really happy to be doing this film. In future, if I get a chance to work with him, I will be really happy," the 35-year-old said here Wednesday on the sets of the film.A set of a bank has been set up at Mehboob Studio where a large portion of the film will be shot.A common man, Riteish's character is stuck in the rigmarole of life and the only way out for him is robbing a bank.Talking about his character, Riteish said, "I am playing a common man whose situation gets difficult when he in unable to return a loan that he took from a bank. Then he decides to rob the bank to get rid of his problems. He is a god-fearing, Maharashtrian man."A Yash Raj Films' production, "Bank Chor" is being directed by Bumpy and is slated for a March release next year. It also stars Vivek Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty.For the film, the cast underwent a workshop to gel up all the characters.
"We have done workshops for the film. We all did a lot of readings together. When so many characters work together, it is important to have them all in sync," Riteish said."All the characters are very different. So we had more than 10 days of workshops. The film is being shot on the same location, apart from the exteriors," he added.

Rekha plays harmonium on CNWK


 It's a rarity that Rekha steps out of her comfort zone, but when she does, she makes sure her fans know why she's called Bollywood's evergreen diva! On the sets of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", the actress not just took her old harmonium, but also played it for her fans.The film veteran, who turns 60 Friday, came on the hit TV show to promote her forthcoming film "Super Nani". Her fun-filled stint on the show made her small screen appearance a treat, said a source from the channel airing the show."Rekha brought with herself one of her most prized possessions, her harmonium which has been her musical companion for close to 30 years. And when the instrument was in close proximity, how could she not play it before her fans and audience," the source revealed.

The episodes of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" featuring Rekha will air Oct 11 and Oct 12.

When Kapil Sharma met gorgeous Rekha


Veteran actress Rekha, exudes a sense of awe, every time she comes on screen. But, seldom has she appeared on small screen, barring a few awards nights, where we get to see her sizzle in those gold 'kanjivarams' and red lips.

To please her fans, and promote her upcoming film 'Super Nani', the senior actress will be soon seen on comedy king Kapil Sharma's show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' (CNWK). The man of the moment took to micro-blogging site Twitter in order to make this announcement.

Here's what he posted: “One of my favourite picture... Zanju playing with Rekha ji :)”.




















Rekha can be seen happily playing on the sets with Kapil's adopted pet named Zanjeer. 'Super Nani' stars Sharman Joshi, Randhir Kapoor and Anupam Kher besides Rekha in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on October 24, 2014.

Kapil Sharma in Ram Gopal Varma's next?


After taking everyone by a storm with his wit, king of comedy Kapil Sharma is all set to create a base in Bollywood. If reports are anything to go by, then the actor will soon be seen playing a pivotal role in controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's next.
According to a report published in a leading English daily, Kapil Sharma will play a cop in the untitled project. RGV has signed Kapil for the role and he will start shooting once he is finished with Abbas Mastan's project, reports suggest.
The film in question will reportedly feature south superstar Siddharth as the lead actor while Vinay Jham will play the grey character.

However, as of now there is no confirmation from the actor's end about any such offer.
